Apostle Earl la’Counsel Newton was born on September 2, 1977 in Phoenix, Arizona. He is the second of three children. He was reared at the Trinity Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Supt. A.D. Hutchings were his family served until 1989. Then his parents joined the Whole Truth Church of God in Christ where he continues to serve to date. In 1998, Apostle Newton accepted his calling to the Ministry. He was ordained as an Elder by General Board Member, Bishop LeRoy Robert Anderson, prelate for the Church of God in Christ, State of Arizona in 2003. In 2006, Apostle Newton was appointed Pastor of Whole Truth Church of God in Christ, which would later become Life Changers Global Ministries. In 2009 Pastor Newton was appointed to the position of District Superintendent of the New Direction District.
Apostle Earl l. Newton is a pastor with a global focus and global vision. He is an anointed preacher and teacher whose vision for God’s people enables him to build bridges and reach across denominations, generations, genders, race, culture and ethnicity, by changing lives and building communities. His preaching and teaching focuses on empowering believers spiritually, developing them educationally, exposing them culturally, activating them politically and strengthening them economically. Apostle Newton operates with an Apostolic anointing upon his life to help bridge the gap for God’s people by taking them from where they are and helping them get to where God has promised. He operates under a heavy anointing for true deliverance! He operates under an Apostolic Governmental anointing that allows him to go in and out among the government for the sake of advancing the Kingdom’s agenda.
Apostle Earl l. Newton does not limit his ministry to the confines of the physical the church. He is Founder and President of the Whole Truth Community Development Corporation organized in 2001. He also is the Founder and C.E.O. of the Hood 2 Hood Foundation which is focused on eliminating all excuses for failure and using a holistic approach to empowering the entire family unit. He began the I.O.T.A.S. Fatherhood Initiative which focuses on teaching fathers Co-Parenting skills. He is leading an entire community towards restoration, healing and empowerment. He is the Founder of an organization known as L.E.A.H. that is geared toward helping and empowering young single un-wed mothers. Apostle Newton is also the Founding Director of the South Mountain Village Child Abuse Prevention Council which is a collaborative effort with the Arizona Department of Children Services. Apostle Earl l. Newton is also committed to helping individuals destroy the yoke of poverty and affirm themselves with sound biblical principles. He is the host of a weekly radio broadcast known as Changing Lives Radio Broadcast, which was heard throughout all of Arizona and New Mexico. Apostle Newton is a sought after, Preacher, Teacher, Lecturer an Executive Life Coach where he trains leaders all across the nation.
He serves the community by serving on several key committees and task force with the city of Phoenix, with the express purpose of bringing change and empowerment to the South Mountain Village Community. He is a member of the City of Tempe African American Advisory Committee; He serves as a board member for the Arizona Center for African American Children (AzCAAC.). He also serves on several community collaborations that are making a great change within our community. Apostle Newton received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Arizona State University and his Master’s Degree in Christian Studies with and Emphasis in Pastoral Leadership from Grand Canyon University. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree in Organizational Development from Grand Canyon University.
Apostle Earl l. Newton is married to Lady Ayetta B. Newton, a gifted woman of God who serves the ministry right by his side. They have four children Marlon Juston, Eri’el leAnn-Pearl and Eri’Ane le’Yetta and Earl l Newton, II.
